A Long Walk Through the North End is a collection of textures, colors, plants, shapes, and patterns that I recognize as home. It is made of natural and secondhand materials and is speaking the language of a quilt. The fabric piece and the painted wall behind it are an exploration of internal and external landscapes, place-making, and the interstices between the built environment and the living world.
